BRUSSELS (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 13th March, 2019) The Turkey-based National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces (SNC) plans to embark on a tour across some of the European capitals as well as Washington and after that will pay a visit to Moscow, SNC spokesman Abdul Ahad Stefo told Sputnik on the sidelines of the Brussels conference.

The conference, called "Supporting the Future of Syria and the Region," also known as Brussels III, is taking place in the Belgian capital on March 12-14. The donors are expected to make financial pledges on the last day of the event.

"Here we begin the trip, which includes Brussels, Paris, London, Berlin and Washington. Then we will return to Russia," Stefo said.

The opposition coalition plans to hold a series of meetings on the sidelines of the conference in the Belgian capital, including with the Russian delegation, the spokesman added.

At the same time, SNC is now concentrating its efforts on resolving the problem of humanitarian deliveries to the Rukban refugee camp, Stefo noted.

"For more than a month and a half, we have been working on this issue ... We are looking for solutions for the camp residents: they will either stay there if decent humanitarian conditions are ensured, or there are other options, which can be put forward for discussion by the US and Russian sides," the SNC spokesman added.

Over months, the situation in the Rukban camp has been in the focus as Moscow and Damascus criticize Washington for its refusal to facilitate evacuation of the camp's residents wishing to return to their places of residence.

In January, the World Health Organization described people residing in the Rukban camp as "trapped," adding that they live "in deplorable conditions." Limited water supply, bitterly cold weather and poorly functioning health care facilities contribute to the rise of diseases, which include influenza, measles, tuberculosis and chronic respiratory diseases, according to the organization.
