
S.Africa's ANC Ruling Party Rejected Calls For Zuma To Resign:

JOHANNESBURG, , (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Nov, 2016 ) - South Africa's ruling ANC party backed scandal-hit President Jacob Zuma to stay in office after a "robust" debate over whether he should resign, a party official said Tuesday.
"Following robust, honest, candid and at times difficult discussions, the (ANC executive committee) did not support the call for the president to step down," Gwede Mantashe, secretary general of the African National Congress, told reporters.
