Small Plane With 6 People Aboard Crashes In Texas - US Aviation Agency

WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd April, 2019) A small airplane with at least six people on board crashed this morning in the US state of Texas, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said in a press release on Monday.

"A twin-engine Beechcraft BE58 crashed Monday morning while preparing to land at Kerrville Municipal Airport in Kerrville, Texas," the release said.

"According to preliminary information, at least six people were aboard the aircraft."

All six passengers aboard the aircraft were killed in the accident, media reported citing the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The plane crash occurred shortly before 9 a.m. local time, and the wreckage was found about six miles northwest of Kerrville Municipal Airport, the FAA release said.

FAA investigators are on their way to the scene of the tragic accident and the National Transportation Safety Board will oversee the investigation, it added.
