Egyptian security forces have killed 40 terrorists in raids in the Giza and North Sinai regions, according to the Egyptian Ministry of Interior.

CAIRO, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 29th Dec, 2018) Egyptian security forces have killed 40 terrorists in raids in the Giza and North Sinai regions, according to the Egyptian Ministry of Interior.

These terrorists were planning to carry out a series of hostile acts against state's economic and tourism institutions, members of the Armed Forces, police, and Christian places of worship in a number of Egyptian regions, the ministry said in a statement.

Large quantities of firearms, ammunition, various caliber bullets, and improvised explosive devices were also recovered, the ministry added.
