Mohammed Bin Rashid Meets UN Deputy Secretary-General

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, received today in Madinate Jumeirah in Dubai, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Amina Mohammed.

DUBAI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 22nd Oct, 2018) His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, received today in Madinate Jumeirah in Dubai, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Amina Mohammed.

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai also attended the meeting.

Sheikh Mohammed and Amina Mohammed reviewed the agenda of the 2nd edition of the UN World Data Forum, currently taking place from 22nd to 24th October in Dubai, and attracted more than 2500 experts from 120 countries.

His Highness welcomed the guests of the event, which is hosted by Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority, and wished that the outcomes of the event will lead to solutions that help attending countries achieving their sustainable development objectives.

The UN Deputy Secretary-General thanked His Highness for the support and the logistics facilities that helped in success of the event.

The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation; H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and The Future; Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; Ohoud bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Happiness and Wellbeing; Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, Director- General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai, and Amina Mohammed, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations.
