UAE, Australia explore prospects of defence cooperation

ABU DHABI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 26th Sep, 2018) Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, and Christopher Pyne, the Australia Minister for Defence, held on Wednesday discussions on ways of boosting bilateral defence and military cooperation between the two friendly countries.

The two defence ministers also tackled an array of regional and global developments of mutual concern, in the presence of Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces; General Angus Campbel, the Chief of the Defence Force; Rear Admiral Hatcher, Commander of Australian Forces in the middle East region, and Arthur Spyrou, Australian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates.

Al Bowardi said UAE-Australia ties were experiencing significant progress.
