UAE, Equatorial Guinea Discuss Issues Of Common Concern

Ahmed Nasser Al Khaja, the UAE Ambassador to Guinea, met on Saturday Simeon Angue, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Equatorial Guinea, in capital Malabo.
MALABO, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 15th Oct, 2018) Ahmed Nasser Al Khaja, the UAE Ambassador to Guinea, met on Saturday Simeon Angue, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Equatorial Guinea, in capital Malabo.
The meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the UAE's participation in the west African country's national day celebrations, tackled ways of bolstering bilateral ties and issues of mutual interest.
Minister Simeon Angue thanked the UAE for taking part in the 50th national day celebrations, a gesture which, he said, would contribute to strengthening bilateral ties.
Meanwhile, the UAE ambassador met Gabriel Mbaga Obiang Lima, the Minister of Mines and Hydrocarbons of Equatorial Guinea, to discuss aspects of joint cooperation in areas of energy.
Lima expressed his country's desire to further boost relations with the UAE.
Al Khaja said the UAE was interested in expanding scope of joint cooperation with the African country.
