UAE Trains New Batch Of Yemeni Special Task Forces

The fifth batch of the Yemeni Special Task Forces in Hadramaut Coast has graduated from the UAE-funded Police Security Rehabilitation Programme
HADRAMAUT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 15th Mar, 2019) The fifth batch of the Yemeni Special Task Forces in Hadramaut Coast has graduated from the UAE-funded Police Security Rehabilitation Programme.
Staff Major General Faraj Salemin Al-Bahsani, Governor of Hadramaut, attended the graduation ceremony in Al Mukalla and expressed sincere gratitude to the Saudi-led Arab Coalition Forces in Support of Legitimacy in Yemen, for their supportive efforts.
He noted that the Emirati-funded security programme has proved significantly successful thanks to the support provided by the UAE to the security sector, including the provision of military vehicles, communication systems, munitions and restoration of security premises across the governorate.
For his part, Brigadier Ahmed Saif Bin Zaytoun Al Muhairi, representative of the UAE Ministry of Interior, said the UAE-funded police security rehabilitation programme targets training of 1400 soldiers and f officers, providing of 277 vehicles, and restoration of 21 police centres as well as equipping 11 security directorates with equipment and civil defence communications systems.
Attending the ceremony were Munir Al Tamimi, Director General of Security and Police in Hadramaut Coast and a number of Yemeni security and military commanders.
