Polio drops would be administered to 896828 kids under five years age across the district during a five day anti-polio drive being started from April 22.
MULTAN (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2019 ) ::Polio drops would be administered to 896828 kids under five years age across the district during a five day anti-polio drive being started from April 22.
Deputy Commissioner Mudassir Riaz Malik said this here on Saturday while inaugurating anti-polio drive. He urged the parents to get their kids administered polio drops.
"Making Pakistan a polio free country is our determination and everyone has the prime responsibility towards this" Mudassir added.
He sked the citizens to get their kids administered polio drops during travelling through 'health muhafiz' team.
He said that 1867 mobile teams, 196 health facility teams while 140 health teams would perform duties at general bus stand and railway stations during the drive.
Chief Executive Officer Health Dr Munawar Abbas said that 134 medical officers would remain present in the union councils (UCs) during the drive.
He informed that the anti polio drive would be continued from April 22 to 26 in the district.
