BISP Registers 21,263 Complaints Against Fraudulent SMS Since January 2015 Till Date

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Jan, 2019 ) :Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has registered a total of 21, 263 complaints against fraudulent SMS since January 2015 till date.

The complaints registered during the period were 3,588 from mobilink, 489 from zong, 3,742 from Ufone, 13,100 from Telenor, the official source revealed while talking to APP.

About the steps taken by BISP to create public awareness, the official source said BISP has executed bulk SMS awareness campaign, created awareness through BISP website and electronic media, printed banners and hanged in all BISP Tehsil offices, made announcements through FM Radio while Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has sent SMS to all active subscribers against fraudulent messages.
