By Election In NA-260 Quetta On July 15

ISLAMABAD, July 7 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Jul, 2017 ) : Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Friday said by election in NA-260 Quetta, Nushki and Mustung would be held on July 15. The seat had been fallen vacant due to death of MNA Abdul Rahim Khan Mandokhel of Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP).
As per schedule, voting would take place on NA-260 Nushuki-cum Chagai on July 15. The ECP has banned announcement of development projects and transfer posting of the officers in the constituency.
Regional Election Commissioner Shehzad Ahmed would perform the duties of District Returning Officer. Attaullah Brohi would be Returning Officer who is the District Election Commissioner Khuzdar while Assistant Commissioner Saddar, Tehsildar Saddar, Naib Tehsildar Panjpai, Assistant Commissioner Dalbandin, Tehsildar Taftan and Assistant Commissioner Nushki would also work as Returning Officers.
District Returning Officer (DRO) and Returning Officer (RO) would exercise powers of first class magistrate under the code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 (Act No. V of 1898) with immediate effect and until the consolidation and announcement of official results of NA-260.
The officers shall exercise the powers of Magistrate First Class in respect of the offences punishable under Section 80, Section 82A, Section 83, Section 84, Section 85, Section 86 and Section 87 (1) of the Representation of the People Act, 1976.
