CASHT Celebrates Independence Day With Great National Spirit

The Center of Advanced Studies in Health and Technology (CASHT) celebrated 71st Independence Day of the country with due fervour and dignity at its main campus here.

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Aug, 2018 ) :The Center of Advanced Studies in Health and Technology (CASHT) celebrated 71st Independence Day of the country with due fervour and dignity at its main campus here.

The celebrations started with flag-hoisting ceremony, which among others, was attended by high officials of management and administration, teachers and students of the center.

On the occasion, the participants recited National Anthem with traditional zeal and enthusiasm and a special dua was held for the progress and prosperity of the country.

The participants paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives, fortunes and sacred honour for the cause of independence back in 1947.

Students of different classes on the occasion, delivered speeches on the spirit of independence and stressed the need for making Pakistan in accordance with the dreams of our forefathers. They also sang different national songs on the occasion.

Meanwhile, speaking on the occasion, the MD CASHT, Tayyab Hussain Malik said that August 14 should serve as a day of pledge for every Pakistani to lead the beloved country towards betterment with each passing day.

"Every one of us should make a resolution on this particular day that he/she she would initiate a particular habit or task that makes a positive contribution towards development of the country," he emphasized.
