Chairman JKPFL Pays Tribute To Gawkadal Martyrs

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jan, 2017 ) : Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League (JKPFL), Muhammad Farooq Rehmani Friday paid tribute to the martyred of Gawkadal, Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK) massacre on the eve of their anniversary.
Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, in a statement issued in Srinagar, said it was the worst massacre of Kashmir, along the massacre in Bijbihara in 1993.
It was to be remembered that at least 300 Kashmiris had attained martyrdom in 1990 upheaval in occupied Kashmir, KMS reported.
Meanwhile, he paid tribute to Shaheed Fayaz Ahmad Shah of Baghat, Srinagar, who was martyred by Indian army in an encounter on January, 20, 1993. He said Fayaz Shah was a dedicated freedom fighter of Kashmir. The great sacrifices of the sons of Kashmir would not in vain and the occupied territory would be freed from the Indian clutches by the grace of Allah, he remarked.
