Efforts Being Made To Improve Life Standard Of People In Militancy Affected Tribal Areas: Pakistan Army Sector Commander (North Command) Brigadier Amir Kiani

Pakistan Army sector Commander (North Command) Brigadier Amir Kiani has said security forces are making solid efforts to improve life standard of the people of militancy hit tribal areas by launching mega development schemes in the region.
BAJAUR AGENCY, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Apr, 2018 ) :Pakistan Army sector Commander (North Command) Brigadier Amir Kiani has said security forces are making solid efforts to improve life standard of the people of militancy hit tribal areas by launching mega development schemes in the region.
He stated this while speaking at the opening ceremony of Bajaur Super League (BSL) cricket tournament at Bajaur Sports Complex here at Khar, APP Correspondent reported. After restoration of peace and normalcy in the region, Brigadier Amir Kiani said the security force has planned to focus on development activities to boost the socio-economic status of the tribesmen, adding that a number of mega development schemes will be started soon in the region.
The opening ceremony of the Bajaur Super League, was attended by tribal elders, political activists, youths, cricket fans and players in large number. Senior officials of the local administration and security forces, including political Agent Abdul Amir Khattak and Commandant Bajaur Scouts Col Rahman Qadar, were present on the occasion.
Brigadier Amir Kiani welcomed the arranging of a mega cricket tournament in the agency and said that arranging of sports festival was imperative to promote peace and prosperity in the region. He said sports activities in the area like Bajaur, which had been lacked of entertainment activities were not only essential for a healthy environment, but also vital for providing inexpensive entertainment opportunity to people of Agency.
Political Agent Abdul Amir Khattak also spoke the ceremony and said that sports festival was necessary to promote tolerance and harmony among the people, especially youths. He told that sports activities were also vital to enhance friendly relations among the youths of the agency.
Bajaur Super League (BSL) chairman Engr Bahdar Khan informed the participants about the significance of the event. He said that BSL is the mega cricket event in the history of agency in which 21 top teams across the agency were participating. Later, a friendly match between the senior officials of security forces and local administration was also played.
