IGP Lauds Bravery, Commitment Of Attock Police

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 05th Nov, 2016 ) : Inspector General of Police, Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera on Saturday lauded the Attock police for their gallantry role to impede the miscreants.
Addressing the Police Darbar held at Attock Police lines, he said that Attock Police deserves appreciation for maintaining law and order to protect the integrity of the country. He directed DPO Attock Zahid Nawaz Marwat to give priority to welfare of the police officials and to improve hygienic condition of the police lines by improving facilities of mess, barber shop, recreation room and gym.
He directed to send summary for the funds required in this matter so that funds could be provided on priority basis. "We take pride that we are part of a force which is legatee of more than 700 martyrs which has given a lot of sacrifices for the protection of citizens and maintain law and order," he said.
DPO Attock Zahid Nawaz Marwat, while presenting welcome address, said that it was the foremost priority of the police to ensure safety of lives, property and honour of citizens and Punjab Police was working day and night to achieve this goal.
He further said, Jawans of Punjab Police were thankful to Chief Minister Punjab, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and IGP Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera for taking important measures to strengthen Punjab Police to meet the challenges of modern era and for taking initiatives for welfare of the Police force.
He said, steps of upgrading pay scales of Police officials, increasing financial support package to Rs 10 million for families of Police martyrs and officials passed away in line of duty, induction of 13,000 new head constables and construction of monument of Police Martyrs proves that Punjab government and the IGP were giving top priority to the welfare of Police force.
