Loisam police in Bajaur district busted a gang of stealing of telephone cables and arrested accused red handed

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st Jul, 2025) Loisam police in Bajaur district busted a gang of stealing of telephone cables and arrested accused red handed.

Bajaur district police officer in a statement here Thursday said that another member of the gang involved in stealing telephone cables near Inayat Kallay Bazaar last month has been arrested.

The police recovered 12,000 grams of stolen copper from the suspect’s possession.

During the initial interrogation, the arrested suspect made important revelations, which are now guiding further investigations into other theft incidents in the area.

The operation is part of an ongoing intensive campaign against criminal elements, aimed at making the district safe and free from theft and burglary.

The District Police Officer of Bajaur praised the performance of Loi Sam Police for the successful operation and emphasized that a zero-tolerance policy is being enforced against those involved in theft, robbery, and other crimes.
