Mayor Karachi Chairs Meeting On KMDC

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 03rd Jan, 2017 ) : Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar has directed Karachi Medical and Dental College (KMDC) administration to complete the service rules by the end of this month so these could be given final shape.

He said that inter coordination was essential for strengthening organizations, therefore, employees should perform their duty as team work. He said that new schemes should be added in the ADP for improving KMDC so that this organization could operate on its own.

He expressed these views while chairing a meeting in his office on Tuesday, said a statement on Tuesday. The meeting was attended by the DMC Central Chairman Rehan Hashmi, Municipal Commissioner Dr.

A Khalid Mehmood, Sr. Director medical and health services Dr. Muhammed Ali Abbasi, Sr. Director MS Masood Alam, Principal & Director Administration KMDC. The Mayor directed the KMDC officials to provide him the copies of the summaries presently delayed regarding KMDC so their approval could be obtained from the chief minister of Sindh.

He said we want this institution to maintain its identity and become the exemplary and well standard medical institution in the country. He said a team of expert teachers should be formed in every faculty of college.

In a briefing given to Mayor Karachi through presentation, it was informed that KMDC was established in 1991 where 250 MBBS seats and 100 BDS seats were allocated for students.
