Noor-ul-Haq Qadri Urges Re Establishing Nexus Of Islam And Peace For Regaining Glory

Minister of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sahibzada Noor-ul-Haq Qadri Tuesday said Muslims should re-establish the nexus of Islam and peace for regaining the identity as the Holy Prophet (SAW) gave humanity the roadmap for success in the world and the life hereafter.
Addressing the two day conference titled "Finality of Prophethood and responsibilities of Muslims in the light of teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)", he said the Holy Prophet (PBUH) brought revolutionary changes in the lives of the people and accorded respect to daughters. He said the affection with the Holy Prophet (SAW) was essential part of the faith of every Muslim, despite leading their lives in contrary to his teachings and Sunnah. He said the Holy Prophet (SAW) was very kind to non Muslims. A delegation of Christians came from Najran to meet the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW). The Holy Prophet (PBUH) ordered stay of delegation in Masjid-e-Nabvi, he said.
The Minister also apprised the audience as how the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) established an Islamic state and signed Misaq-e-Madinah (Madina Charter) that had been remembered as the first written constitution binding the state and citizens to a code of conduct.
The two day conference has been organized by Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony in connection with the countrywide celebration of 12th Rabiul Awwal, marking the birthday of Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
Started by the recitation of Quranic verses by renowned Qari Sadaqat Ali, the conference was attended by Federal ministers, parliamentarians, religious scholars , seminary students and others.
Sahibzada Noor-ul-Haq Qadri said it is the 43rd conference aimed at promoting religious harmony, tolerance, brotherhood and equality, respect for humanity, non-violence, unity, reconciliation and culture of dialogue and renew our affiliation with the Holy Prophet (SAW). The minister said last year, the authors of 53 Seerat Books and Research Papers were conferred cash prizes and certificates from out of a total of 65 Seerat books, 81 Research papers presented in the competition.
The winning books or articles were selected after a due process, in nine categories including Seerat and Naat Books in urdu, English, Arabic, and regional languages of Pakistan.
This years a total of 53 authors were awarded prizes in nine categories of Seerat books and research papers. 21 authors were awarded prizes for writing books on Seerat and 32 won scholars prizes for writing research papers on Seerat.
This year, the Minister said a total of 65 books and 81 Seerat research papers were received for participation in the competition.
Over 2,500 people from all walks of life, including parliamentarians, ambassadors, Prime Minster Imran Khan was the chief guest at the opening session, while President Dr Arif Alvi will preside over the closing session.
The next year's topic announced for participating in Seerat book and research papers competition will be 'State of Madina and Concept of Islamic Welfare State.' Religious scholars from Saudi Arabia, Iran, Afghanistan, India , Syria, Lebnan, Morocco and Sajjada Nasheen of Dargah Siltan-ul-Hind Olyya Hazrat Khawaja Moin-Uddin Chishti (RA) Syed Bilal Chishti attended the conference.
Dr Hussain Mohyuddin said the basic aim of the birth of Holy Prophet (SAW) was to revolutionize the lives of mankind. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) changed the lives of not only individuals but the whole society.
Dr Syed Hassan, a scholar from Iran said Muslims are in trouble everywhere due to criminal negligence from the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), Quran and Sunnah.
Professor Dr Abdus Salam from Saudi Arabia said Islam condemns terrorism of every kind.
Dr Syed Ammar urged the Muslims to ensure bringing mercy in their lives as this is panacea to all. We should forgive all and work for bringing ease and comfort in the lives of widows, orphans and oppressed segments of society.
