Overseas Pakistanis Foundations Educational Institutions Enrolls Around 3,697 Expats' Children

As many as 24 educational institutions of Overseas Pakistanis Foundations (OPF) have been imparting education to 3,697 expatriates' children, making some 20 percent of total 19,051 students enrolled by the OPF in all its schools and colleges in current academic calender.
According to Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (OP&HRD) official sources, the OPF owned the building of only nine institutions, out of total 24, and 12 were being run in rented places while building of three schools were provided by the provincial governments.
Currently, around 877 teaching and 494 non-teaching staff were working in its all institutions and clarified that its all establishments were functional across the country.
Presently, he said,all the OPF institutions had a space to accommodate around 2,354 children adding that admissions were in process in all institutions.
The OPF school in Gujarat had the capacity to accommodate 500 students while OPF Public School, Sanghar could accommodate 400.
Likewise OPF school,Karachi has the capacity to absorb 200 students, OPF Mansehra can admit 160 students, OPF School Sheikhupura and Sialkot accommodate 100 students each.
Similarly, OPF Islamabad has the capacity of accommodating 96 students of expatriates.
OPF Multan and D.I Khan can accommodate 75 students each in their premises.
As many as 72 students can get education in OPF, Kotli, followed by 66 in OPF Quetta.
OPF Bhalwal,Depalpur,Pakpattan and Islamabad can accommodate 50 students each.
Likewise 45 students can be admitted in OPF Turbat, 25 each can be accommodated in OPF Muzaffarabad and Badin.
OPF school, Mirpur accommodate 15 students.
