
Pakistan's Foreign Exchange Reserves Reach To Over US $ 22.996 Billion

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th july, 2016) : Pakistan's total Liquid Foreign Reserves stood at US$ 22,996.6 million on July 22, 2016. Giving the break-up of the foreign reserves position, a statement of the Central Bank issued on Thursday said that Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan were US$ 18,036.
9 million while Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks stood at US$ 4,959.7 million on July 22. During the week ending July 22,2016,SBP's Liquid FX Reserves decreased by US$40 million to US$18,037 million, compared to US $18,077 million in the previous week. During the week, SBP made payments of US$83 million on account of external debt servicing, the SBP statement said.
