Parks And Horticulture Authority (PHA) Completes Nine Development Projects In 2017-18

Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) completed nine development projects of rehabilitation of parks during the fiscal year 2017-18 with over Rs 68 million funds.
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Oct, 2018 ) -:Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) completed nine development projects of rehabilitation of parks during the fiscal year 2017-18 with over Rs 68 million funds.
The PHA had received development funds of Rs 60 million for the fiscal year 2016-17 which was spent in 2017-18 on various development projects to restore recreational activities in parks.
The parks and horticulture authority completed rehabilitation work at Aam Khas Bagh, Bagh Langay Kha, Toya Kani Park (Pak Gate), Bagheechi Park (Bohar Gate), Ice Factory Park and Model Town C-Block Park during the year 2018.
However, two parks including Eidgah Park and Linear Park Muzaffarabad were completed by PHA with its own resources, while funds of Rs five millions had been provided by district government for restoration of recreational activities in Linear Park Water Works Road.
Despite minimum resources, PHA administration utilizing all possible resources to make city green and to provide best recreational spots to citizens, PHA spokesman Jalaluddin said.
He said that PHA has not initiated any new development project in the current year because funds for the fiscal year 2018-19 have not been received so far, he added.
"Plantation at parks and green belts of the city was carried out by PHA authority and flower pots were also being placed at various roads of the city for beautification",Jalal said.
