PM&DC Advises Students To Seek Admission In Recognized Colleges

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) advised students to get admission in only council's recognized medical and dental colleges
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Aug, 2017 ) : The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) advised students to get admission in only council's recognized medical and dental colleges.
The PM&DC has also warned that if any student takes admission in any unrecognized medical and dental institution that student would not be registered with PM&DC and it would, not take any responsibility in this connection.
In a ststement issued here on Wednesday, Acting Registrar PM&DC, Dr.Syed Azhar Ali Shah said all such students could check a list of registered and authorized medical and dental colleges from regulator's website.
He said that no medical or dental institution was allowed to train students which are not registered with the PM&DC or whose admissions have been stopped by the Council.
He stated that all the institutions must follow the seat allocation prescribed by the council and strict action will be taken against them in case of any violation of PM&DC rules and regulations.
The registar said that passed out medical dental graduates without having students registration with PM&DC would not be registered as medical and dental practitioners. He said that if any person has a problem regarding admissions of medical dental colleges, he or she may contact for complaints or grievance to the president PM&DC or PM&DC council members on the helpline and [email protected] He added that the list of medical and dental college whose admissions have been banned and the colleges which are under litigation are also available on PM&DC website along with details.
