Power Supply Of Defaulters Disconnected In Kohat

The PESCO authorities of Kohat Rural Division have disconnected power supply of defaulters for non-payment of about 106.9million outstanding dues pending against them
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Dec, 2017 ) :The PESCO authorities of Kohat Rural Division have disconnected power supply of defaulters for non-payment of about 106.9million outstanding dues pending against them.
On the directives of Chief Executive PESCO, drive against illegal use of electricity and recovery of dues, has been geared up throughout the province. The teams of Kohat Rural division disconnected power supply to 1,063 defaulters of villages Anju Ghunda, NaraBanda, GhuriWala, MatoKhel, QamarSar, ShurKhut, ChorLakki, Tarngi, Chashma Ghunda, Patraki, BarangiKhel, EngerTangi owing Rs106.
9mln outstanding dues.
The defaulters are warned to deposit their outstanding dues immediately, otherwise their power supply will be disconnected without any further notice. Meanwhile, Pesco Mardan division along with Pesco police checked various premises in the jurisdiction of Par Hoti,Tura and GojarGharisub divisions and nabbed nine more persons on the spot using direct connections.
Chief Executive Pesco has directed all the field formations to speed up drive against illegal use of electricity and directed consumers to stop power pilferage in the larger interest of the nation.
