Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Raja Rashid Hafeez has won PP-16 with 64662 votes.

Rawalpindi (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Raja Rashid Hafeez has won PP-16 with 64662 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PP-16 Rawalpindi-XI constituency with 64662 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Col R Shuja Khanzada was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 38791 votes. The second runner up was Independent candidate Raza khan who got 25931 votes.

At least 11 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-16. In 2013 elections, there were 189894 voters registered in PP-16, out of which 95463 votes were polled out.

In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 50.27 %. Detailed results can be found here
