PTI Committee Reviews Party's Constitution

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) 21-member committee met here Wednesday to review the party's constitution.
Headed by Party's Secretary General Arshad Daad, the four-day meeting was attended by PTI Additional Secretary General Ijaz Chaudhry, Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri and Central Deputy Secretary General Ahzaz Asif.
In a statement issued by the PTI Central Media Department, PTI Secretary General Arshad Daad said the process of the party's reorganization has been initiated on the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Before the reorganization it was necessary to review the party's constitution, he said.
He said that the new people are also being provided opportunity for review of the party's basic document. He said the workers' recommendations from all parts of the country will be welcomed, who can send their proposals in writing.
The PTI official said that any change in the party's constitution will be made after thorough consultations within the party ranks.
The session of the review committee will continue for four days and at the conclusion of the meeting recommendations will be compiled for the changes in the constitution.
The meeting was also attended by Saifullah Niazi, Umar Cheema, Haleem Adil Shaikh, Senator Seemi Ezdi and other PTI leaders.
