Safety Of Lives, Property Of Citizens Prime Responsibility Of Police: DIG

The Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Police Khuzdar, Agha Muhammad Yousaf Thursday said protecting the property and lives of citizens were prime responsibility of police department.
He said it was major duty of police to prevent crime and improving law and order situation.
Muhammad Yousaf underlined that media should play positive role for presenting the real news with fact and figures to public because the media was the only and effective source that contribute as a bridge between the government and the people.
The DIG said that the lives of citizens should be protected at any cost but unfortunately the trend of drug addiction increasing among youth.
He said police department encouraged those officers who were interested in performing their duties.
