SERRA To Complete Reconstruction Projects On Priority Basis: Secretary

MUZAFFARABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Oct, 2017 ) :Secretary State Earthquake Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Authority (SEERA) Sardar Farooq Tabbasam Wednesday directed all district reconstruction units (DRUs) to complete reconstruction projects having 80 percent work done on priority basis.
Addressing a meeting of the DRUs officers here, he said SERRA was committed to completing its program under its commitment to build back better.
He said SERRA was striving hard to provide buildings to students who were getting education under open sky since October 2005.
He urged the officers and other concern persons to work with spirit and complete the earthquake resistant buildings and prefer early completion of school buildings. He also directed DRU Poonch to call tenders for the completion of the building of Tehsil headquarter Hospital (THQ) Abbaspur as early as possible as the construction was delayed for so many years.
