Zardari said that if a free election were held, the captain (Imran Khan) would not have been in government.
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 17th December, 2018) Sindh Assembly lawmaker Syed Abbas Shah Rizvi gifted five camels to former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari upon his visit to Tando Allahyar.
The former president also spoke to media during his visit.
When a reporter asked the PPP co-chairman that he had talked about to bring a ruination but he had fled out of the country for three years, Zardari replied, “You are not that old to ask this question.”
In his statement, Zardari said that if a free election were held, the captain (Imran Khan) would not have been in government. Every time the base of politics is laid, it is removed and replaced by an ‘artificial plant’.
While criticising the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in a press conference on Sunday, Zardari had said that they think we are afraid of arrest.
“I am are not afraid of arrest, jail is my second home,” he said.
Comparing the PPP government’s tenure with the present government, Zardari said that we did a lot of work in the first 100 days of our government.
We worked on every issue in our government, he said.
Targeting PTI, he said that they can only if they stop going after people arresting them.
Talking to media in Karachi on Sunday, the former president said that politics is done wisely.
“I call him (Imran Khan) under-16 because he does not know how to play,” he said.
He recalled that we worked on most issues in our government. We worked malnutrition and water crisis besides resolving Attabad Lake issue.
The former president said that we don’t want to weaken institutions. We accepted Bhutto’s martyrdom but didn’t take any action against law.
“This is a government of stupid people. They don’t have any understanding of running governmental affairs,” he said.
