Nokia 1 comes in Warm Red and Dark Blue. However, there are back covers available in several other colors.
Nokia is a brand name we all know too well. For those who were exhilarated about the trademark’s new game-plan also eagerly looked forward to HMD Global’s next step.
Since the beginning, HMD has been writing a new tale for the Nokia mobile phone journey, and so far, it has successfully managed to captivate its audience with the launch of powerful devices. One such interesting device is the Nokia 1.
Nokia 1- Look & feel:
The first look at the Nokia 1 made it appear as a small device, with a familiar design. As far as the display is concerned, the device is equipped with a 4.5-in IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen (480 x 854 pixels), with a sheen bezel around the edges.
It’s quite light in weight, with a full plastic body, a removable back cover and battery with a 3.5mm audio jack.
One can also spot the mic towards the front of the phone and a speaker at the back. The sides are where you will find the lock/power button and volume buttons. Overall, the Nokia 1 is very simple when it comes to look and feel.
Hardware & Software:
One of the impressive qualities of the Nokia 1 is that it is powered by Android Oreo: Go Edition. Which means that the Smartphone is capable of running applications to the most optimized convenience so that they consume less storage and battery without compromising on the performance.
It also has a MediaTek MT6737M processor, which is more or less equivalent to a quad-core Cortex-A53 at 1.
1GHz. It is coupled with a Mali-T720 GPU and 1GB of RAM and 8GB ROM. You can also use a MicroSD for additional storage purposes (it supports up to 128GB).
Camera:
The Nokia 1 boasts a 5MP rear and 2MP front camera. Considering that the handset is an entry-level Smartphone, both cameras are sublime.
Battery:
Unlike other Smartphones nowadays, the Nokia 1 comes with a removable 2150 mAh Li-lon battery.
This is convenient for users as they can swap it with another fully charged battery whenever required. However, the phone lacks a fast-charging option.
Performance:
While it may be no flagship, the aim of the Nokia 1 is to provide a version of the latest Android software for a phone at a minimal price which works properly, considering that fact one could say they’ve succeeded. Keeping in mind the price of the Smartphone, and its features, we can brush off the small things as long as performance is not compromised. The Go Edition was chosen for the purpose to support lower power devices, and key apps such as Maps, Assistant and the File Manager.
Colours:
Nokia 1 comes in Warm Red and Dark Blue. However, there are back covers available in several other colors.
Nokia 1’s Price:
Easy on the pocket and fully-packed with everything you need for a Smartphone experience; the Nokia 1 is available just for a price of Rs 8,999.
