Russia to Use Angara Carrier Rocket for Flights to Moon - Rogozin

A new Angara heavy-class carrier rocket will be used in the Russian lunar exploration program, Dmitry Rogozin, general director of the Russian State Space Corporation Roscosmos said Monday.

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 19th November, 2018) A new Angara heavy-class carrier rocket will be used in the Russian lunar exploration program, Dmitry Rogozin, general director of the Russian State Space Corporation Roscosmos said Monday.

"In fact, we are viewing Angara as a future core transport system to the Moon," Rogozin said during a press conference held at the Rossiya Segodnya news agency media center.
