Acting Finance Minister of Afghanistan Mohammad Humayon Qayomi will visit Moscow in the near future, Russian Ambassador to Afghanistan Alexander Mantytskiy told Sputnik in an interview
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 11th February, 2019) Acting Finance Minister of Afghanistan Mohammad Humayon Qayomi will visit Moscow in the near future, Russian Ambassador to Afghanistan Alexander Mantytskiy told Sputnik in an interview.
"We expect the acting Afghan minister of finance, Humayon Qayomi, to visit Moscow in the near future for a meeting with his Russian counterpart [Russian Deputy Industry and Trade Minister Aleksei Gruzdev] on the co-chairmanship in the bilateral Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
The visit was scheduled for February 8, but was postponed by the Afghan side," Mantytskiy said.
The ambassador also revealed that the Afghan presidential national security adviser, Hamdullah Mohib, had been invited to take part in the 10th international meeting of high-level representatives on security issues that will be held in the Russian city of Ufa on June 17-20, 2019.
