ASTANA (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 26th November, 2018) This week's Syria peace talks in Kazakhstan's capital Astana will be attended by a delegation of 13 Syrian opposition members, the head of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry's press service said.

"Thirteen members of the armed Syrian opposition plan to take part in the Astana talks on the Syrian reconciliation.

The delegation will be led by Ahmad Toma," Aibek Smadiyarov told reporters.

The new round of talks with the Syrian government will be held on November 28-29.

The opposition delegation will feature both veterans and those new to the Astana peace process, Smadiyarov added.
