Croatia Asks Serbia To Provide Information On Mass Graves, Missing Soldiers

Croatia's War Veterans' Affairs Minister Tomo Medved on Tuesday urged the Serbian authorities to provide information on the fate of detained and missing Croatian Homeland War soldiers.

ZAGREB, Croatia, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Nov, 2018 ) :Croatia's War Veterans' Affairs Minister Tomo Medved on Tuesday urged the Serbian authorities to provide information on the fate of detained and missing Croatian Homeland War soldiers.

"We will propose a law on missing persons. We are analysing thoroughly every tip, but not happy with the results.

We expect Serbia to deliver this information," Medved said.

The Minister said he did not want to speculate why Serbia was not working over it.

Medved attended a commemorative event at the former Ovcara farm where over 200 Prisoner of Wars (POWs) were killed after this eastern Croatian town fell into the hands of Serb rebels and the JNA in mid-November 1991.
