MEXICO CITY (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 20th October, 2018) Dozens of Honduran migrants breached the Guatemalan border with Mexico on Friday in an attempt to reach the United States, injuring at least two police officers, media reported.
The El Universal news website reported about clashes on the border, with migrants hurling stones at the police guarding the fence.
A Universal journalist was also hurt in the skirmishes.
Two caravans going north through Central America have drawn anger from US President Donald Trump who spoke of an onslaught on the southern US border and threatened to send in the military if Mexico failed to stop the flow of undocumented migrants.
