IMF Approves $1.3Bln in Emergency Financing Support for Ukraine - Statement

WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 08th October, 2022) The International Monetary Fund (IMF) Executive board on Friday approved $1.3 billion for Ukraine to help Kiev meet its urgent balance-of-payments needs.

"The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) today approved a disbursement of US$1.

3 billion (SDR 1,005.9 million) under the food shock window of the Rapid Financing Instrument (RFI) to help meet Ukraine's urgent balance of payments needs," IMF said in a statement.
