Italian Prime Minister, Russia's Putin Discuss G20 Summit, Afghanistan - Rome

ROME (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd September, 2021) Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi held a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss the preparations for the upcoming G20 summit in Rome and the situation in Afghanistan, the Italian government said on Wednesday.

"Prime Minister Mario Draghi held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin today. The talks focused on the situation in Afghanistan and preparations for the G20 summit to be held in Rome at the end of October," the statement said.
