Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will meet with Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez in Moscow on Friday to discuss the situation in the Bolivarian republic along with joint energy projects, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Thursday

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 28th February, 2019) Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will meet with Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez in Moscow on Friday to discuss the situation in the Bolivarian republic along with joint energy projects, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Thursday.

"On March 1, Sergey Lavrov will hold talks with the executive vice president of Venezuela. [The two parties] will exchange views on the current issues relating to the bilateral relations, the implementation of major joint projects in energy, industry, agriculture, medicine and modern technology," Zakharova said.

She added that Lavrov and Rodriguez would discuss further coordination of the two countries' positions on the global stage and the situation in Venezuela.
