VLADIVOSTOK (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 25th April, 2019) The Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre in the Russian Far Eastern city of Vladivostok has announced plans to restrict parking near its premises on the day of a ballet that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un reportedly plans to attend.
Earlier, the Yonhap news agency reported that Kim, who is currently on his first official visit to Russia, might attend the Mariinsky Theatre in Vladivostok. The theater has not, however, confirmed the reports to Sputnik.
"Please note that on April 26, the number of available parking spaces near the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre will be restricted.
Please arrive for the Sleeping Beauty ballet in advance and, if possible, refrain from using private transport," the theater said in a statement.
The audience will be allowed to start entering the hall two hours before the start of the three-act ballet-feerie, slated for 7 p.m. local time (09:00 GMT).
Kim arrived in the Russian Far Eastern city on Wednesday evening by train. Earlier on Thursday, the North Korean leader started his first ever summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
