
Olympics: Hungary's Kozak Wins Women's Single Kayak 500m Gold

RIO DE JANEIRO, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th August, 2016) - Hungary's Danuta Kozak won the women's single kayak 500m gold at Rio de Janeiro on Thursday, capturing her second gold of the 2016 Games and the fourth Olympic title of her career.
Kozak, who claimed gold with Gabriella Szabo in the double kayak 500m on Tuesday, repeated the single 500m gold she won in London four years ago -- when she also won gold in the four-woman kayak 500m. Denmark's Emma Jorgensen earned silver and bronze went to New Zealand's Lisa Carrington.
