OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Harlem Desir condemned on Monday a bomb attack on the Greek broadcaster Skai TV and called to bring its perpetrators to justice.
Earlier in the day, a bomb explosion hit the building of the broadcaster.
Nobody was injured by the blast as two local media outlets the Zougla website and the Antenna television channel received a warning call about the bomb threat in advance and police officers had enough time to cordon off the area.
"I strongly condemn the bomb attack at #Skai TV in #Athens. Relieved that no one was injured," Desir said on Twitter.
He welcomed the swift response by the Greek authorities and called to bring perpetrators of the attack to justice.
"An attack against the media is an attack against democracy," the envoy concluded.
No organization has claimed responsibility for the explosion yet.
