LONDON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 30th August, 2018) Japan's Panasonic electronics corporation will move its European headquarters from London to Amsterdam in October over potential tax issues related to Brexit, Japanese media reported on Thursday.
The electronics corporation had been examining the possible relocation of its headquarters for about 15 months, after which it decided to redeploy a total of 20-30 employees dealing with audit and finance to the Dutch capital, Nikkei Asian Review reported, citing Panasonic Europe CEO Laurent Abadie.
Meanwhile, the staff working with investors will stay in the UK capital, the news outlet added.
The United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union in June 2016, with the negotiations between the two parties expected to last until March 29, 2019.
