MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 24th April, 2019) Russia is concerned about the military activity of extraregional states in the Arctic, Nikolai Korchunov, the Russian Foreign Ministry's ambassador-at-large for international Arctic cooperation, said Wednesday.

"We cannot but be concerned about the internationalization of military activity in the region, as exemplified by the military Arctic strategy announced by the UK in the fall of 2018," he told a press conference on international cooperation in the Arctic and Russia's position.
