Russia Records 15 Truce Breaches In Syria Over Past 24 Hours - Russian Military

The Russian side of the Russian-Turkish commission monitoring the implementation of the Syrian ceasefire registered 15 truce breaches in the country over the past 24 hours, while the Turkish side recorded 23 ceasefire violations, the Russian Defense Ministry's Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria said on Monday
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 25th March, 2019) The Russian side of the Russian-Turkish commission monitoring the implementation of the Syrian ceasefire registered 15 truce breaches in the country over the past 24 hours, while the Turkish side recorded 23 ceasefire violations, the Russian Defense Ministry's Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria said on Monday.
"Over the last 24 hours, the Russian party of the Russia-Turkey Commission on violations of the Joint Agreement has registered 15 cases of firing in the provinces of Aleppo (6), Idlib (1), Latakia (7) and Hama (1). The Turkish side has registered 23 cases of ceasefire violations in the provinces of Aleppo (3), Idlib (3), Latakia (11) and Hama (6)," the center said in its daily bulletin.
Over the given period, the Russian military held one humanitarian action in the western Hama province, handing out 500 food sets to local residents, the bulletin added.
The Russian military carries out regular humanitarian operations across Syria and assists Damascus with the return of refugees. When the civil war in the country was still in its most active phase, Russia was also assisting Syrian authorities in the settlement of the armed conflict through military support for the government forces.
