MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 20th September, 2019) Russia sees Pentagon's "irresponsible" statements on developing a plan to breach air defense of the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad as a threat, Maria Zakharova, the spokeswoman for the Foreign Ministry, said Friday.

The plan and relevant training were reported by breaking Defense outlet citing Commander of the US Air Forces in Europe and Africa, Gen. Jeffrey Lee Harrigian, who said "if that would ever come to fruition, we'd be ready to execute."

"First of all, we see this as threats, and, secondly, we see such statements as absolutely irresponsible," Zakharova told a briefing.
