US President Donald Trump said Wednesday that Russia "needed to get out" of Venezuela.
Earlier in the week, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo denounced "the continued insertion of Russian military personnel" in Venezuela in phone talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
"[Russian military experts] are implementing defense agreements. How long will they do it? As long as they need. As long as the Venezuelan government needs it. All this is done on the basis of bilateral agreements," Zakharova said.
