Session Of CSTO Council At Level Of Heads Of State To Take Place In Astana On Thursday

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 08th November, 2018) A meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Council at the level of heads of state will take place in the Kazakh capital on Thursday.
At the meeting, the parties are expected to discuss key regional security and international issues as well as look at the ways to improve joint mechanisms to counter the existing threats and challenges.
The CSTO was established on the basis of the Collective Security Treaty, signed by members of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in 1992. CSTO comprises Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
