The High Court of Justice has suspended the case on recognition and enforcement of the Stockholm arbitration court's ruling in the dispute between Russia's Gazprom and Ukraine's Naftogaz on gas transit, Gazprom said Thursday

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 21st March, 2019) The High Court of Justice has suspended the case on recognition and enforcement of the Stockholm arbitration court's ruling in the dispute between Russia's Gazprom and Ukraine's Naftogaz on gas transit, Gazprom said Thursday.

"On March 15, 2019, the High Court of England and Wales suspended the proceedings on the case on recognition and enforcement in the territory of England and Wales of the ruling of the Stockholm arbitration court of February 28, 2018 on the litigation between PJSC Gazprom and Naftogaz of Ukraine on the gas transit contract. The court proceedings in the UK are suspended until the end of proceedings in the Svea Court of Appeal (Sweden)," it said.
