Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Confirms Notified Moscow About Not Renewing Friendship Treaty

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 21st September, 2018) Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin confirmed on Friday that Kiev had sent a note to Moscow notifying that the Russian-Ukrainian Friendship Treaty would not be renewed.

Earlier in the day, Ukrainian lawmaker Alexey Goncharenko said that the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry had notified Russia that the friendship treaty between the two countries would not be renewed.

"Today we sent the relevant note to Russia, like we have said earlier," Klimkin told a briefing.
