Venezuela Demands Extradition Of Former Prosecution, Oil Chiefs

MEXICO CITY (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 18th August, 2018) Venezuela's top court has requested extradition of former chief prosecutor Luisa Ortega Diaz and national oil giant PDVSA head Rafael Ramirez.
The exiled attorney general was ordered on Friday to return from Colombia on charges of high treason and misappropriation of government functions.
Rafael Ramirez, accused of financial crimes and embezzlement, is hiding in Spain. Both officials have been critical of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
