The expansion of this board has been limited to four different regions which are named as Haripur, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Battgram, and Kohistan. The board is capable to hold the tests of those candidates which are associated with this board in Abbottabad and its locale zones. Abbottabad leading group of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE Abbottabad) is responsible to hold the tests of two nuts and bolts levels which are matric, inter and middle. At the matric level, the board holds the tests for two gatherings for Science and Arts. As per the schedule, every year matriculation annual exams are conducted in March.
